Shipping Information

We ship eggs and birds in a way that prioritizes animal welfare, realistic timelines, and safe transit conditions. Please review the information below before placing an order.

Processing and Shipping Timing

All items are offered as pre-orders and are fulfilled as eggs are collected or chicks are raised to the appropriate shipping age. Estimated timeframes are listed on each product page.

Shipping timelines may vary slightly based on laying rates, chick development, and weather conditions. Our priority is sending healthy birds and fresh eggs rather than rushing shipments.

Hatching Eggs

Hatching egg orders are filled in the order they are received once enough fresh eggs have been collected.

Most orders ship within 1–3 weeks, depending on laying rates and current order volume.

Eggs are shipped Monday through Friday.

Shipping may be postponed if weather or carrier conditions could compromise egg safety.

Live Chicks (Chick Boxes)

Chick Boxes are pre-order items. Eggs are collected, incubated, and chicks are raised specifically for these orders.

Chicks typically ship at 2–4 weeks of age, depending on growth and readiness for safe travel.

Chicks ship Mondays and Tuesdays only.

We do not ship during shortened federal holiday weeks, and shipments may be delayed if weather conditions are unsafe at either the origin or destination.

  •

Carriers

    • Hatching eggs are shipped via UPS.

    • Live chicks are shipped via USPS Live Animal Shipping and held at the local Post Office for pickup.

    • Tracking information is provided for all shipments.

Once a package is transferred to the carrier, transit conditions and delivery timelines are outside our control.

Weather and Safety Delays

The health and safety of our birds is our top priority.

We reserve the right to delay or cancel shipments due to:

    • extreme temperatures

    • severe weather

    • carrier disruptions

    • unsafe transit conditions

If a shipment must be delayed for safety reasons, we will communicate updated timelines whenever possible.

Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

    • monitoring tracking information

    • ensuring availability to receive or pick up shipments

    • providing accurate shipping information at checkout

Shipping delays or carrier issues must be addressed directly with the carrier.
