We are committed to providing high-quality Silkie hatching eggs from carefully selected breeding stock. Because hatching eggs are a natural product and shipping conditions vary, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing.
Fertility and Hatch Expectations
Our breeding pens are actively managed, and fertility is routinely monitored within our flock. Eggs offered for sale are collected fresh and come from healthy birds housed with proven roosters.
However, due to the nature of shipped hatching eggs, we cannot guarantee fertility rates, hatch rates, or specific outcomes. Factors beyond our control—including handling during transit, temperature fluctuations, incubation methods, and individual incubator performance—can significantly impact results.
For customers who prefer guaranteed outcomes, we recommend purchasing live chicks rather than hatching eggs.
Shipping
Hatching eggs are packaged with care and shipped via UPS. Once a shipment is transferred to the carrier, we are no longer responsible for delays, damage, loss, or environmental exposure during transit.
Tracking information will be provided at the time of shipment. Any issues related to delivery must be addressed directly with the shipping carrier.
Due to the perishable nature of hatching eggs, shipping dates are determined by availability and weather conditions. We reserve the right to delay shipment if conditions are unsafe for transport.
Refunds and Replacements
All sales of hatching eggs are final. We do not offer refunds, replacements, or credits based on hatch results.
In rare cases, we may delay, cancel, or refund orders if shipping conditions or flock health make fulfillment impractical.
By purchasing hatching eggs from Wild Oak Acres, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with shipped eggs and incubation.
Our Commitment
The eggs we offer are the same eggs we set in our own incubators—fresh, carefully handled, and produced by thoughtfully selected breeding birds. Our goal is to provide healthy, well-managed genetics while maintaining responsible breeding practices and sustainable availability.
